.Saturday 19 August 2017When ‘Go Goa Gone’ (2013) first released, it became the first film of it’s kind to feature zombies. Despite the film being a flop at the box office, directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are bringing out a sequel to the film. They’ve recently revealed that zombies may not be in this second part.As reported in Mid-day, DK said, “We are debating (on that part), may be not.
The humour is in discovery. Earlier they (characters) were trying to figure out what is a zombie. Now it might become too dramatic. We are just toying with the idea.
The idea of the film was not about zombies but discovering something alien.”The directors have said that they plan on having the same cast, which included Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Vir Das. The first draft for the sequel is now ready and the directors are putting the schedule together. “We are now figuring out when to do it. It’s all about getting the dates,” said Nidimoru.Stay with BizAsiaLive.com for all the latest.

However the film has been indefinitely postponed. 'The producers had even locked dates but now, after the fallout between Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK, the film is in limbo. The makers who had earlier collaborated on producing Stree (2018) were fighting a legal battle after there were disputes regarding profit sharing on the film. They are trying to sort the issue out so that work on the sequel can progress,” a source was quoted in the report.
The film was supposed to go on floors in March, but with the producers not working together, its fate has been left hanging.
